The bureau

 

 

The Bureau is composed of 8 to 12 members, who are either elected by the board of directors - for three mandates at the most - or are the chairmen of the standing commissions, in which case, they are elected for four years and two mandates at the most. Within the Bureau, the President, four vice-presidents, the treasurer and the secretary general are elected for two years. Other Bureau members on certain permanent or temporary missions can represent the president.
