Du 1er mars au 16 avril, la CGE invite les Grandes écoles à participer à la 2ème édition du Prix pour l’innovation pédagogique rebaptisé « Prix Jean-François Fiorina » en hommage à son instigateur et premier président du jury, décédé l’an passé. Pour cette 2ème édition, les objectifs restent inchangés. Il s’agit de valoriser les initiatives en faveur de l’innovation pédagogique ; promouvoir ces innovations auprès du réseau CGE et de ses partenaires et ainsi confirmer le rôle moteur des Grandes écoles dans le paysage de l’enseignement supérieur.
Nouveauté de cette année, des catégories sont imposées aux candidats :
• Apprentissage ludique ou insolite ;
• Accompagnement des professeurs et enseignants ;
• Multidisciplinarité ;
• E-learning et hybridation ;
• Évaluation des apprentissages ;
• «Immersive learning» (VR, AR, jumeaux numériques…) ;
• Accès, diversité et inclusion ;
• Professionnalisation.
Un trophée sera décerné pour chaque catégorie, de même qu’un prix Coup de cœur du jury, toutes catégories confondues.
L’an passé, pour la première édition, 87 dossiers ont été reçus en deux mois, illustrant le dynamisme des Grandes écoles et la richesse de leurs propositions. C’est Madeline Vauthier, enseignante en chimie des matériaux à l’Ecole européenne de Chimie Polymères et matériaux (ECPM, Strasbourg) qui a remporté le premier prix. L’annonce en a été faite lors de l’assemblée générale de la CGE, le 16 juin 2022. Madeline Vauthier sera membre du jury 2023.
Retrouvez ici le palmarès 2022 Exceptionnellement, ce jury sera présidé par Laurent Champaney, président de la CGE. Preuve de leur attachement à cette initiative couronnée de succès en 2022, Grace Neville, Amandine Duffoux, Nathalie Hector, Tatiana Defrance, ainsi que le Bureau national des élèves ingénieurs (BNEI) et le Bureau national des étudiants en école de management (BNEM) siégeront une fois encore dans le jury. A noter que pour élargir la représentation étudiante, la Confédération nationale des junior-entreprises (CNJE) rejoint le projet, avec une expertise notamment sur la professionnalisation des étudiants au cours de leur cursus. Frank Bournois quittant ses fonctions à la tête de l’ESCP, c’est son successeur Léon Laulusa qui prendra sa place.
La Communauté des talents pédagogiques, qui a organisé en 2022 la présentation des projets lauréats dans le cadre d’un wébinaire, sera à nouveau partenaire du Prix cette année pour poursuivre le travail de valorisation et de dissémination des initiatives présentées.
« Alors que c’est compliqué de valoriser le temps de travail d’un professeur passé dans l’innovation, quoi de mieux qu’un prix pour mettre en lumière l’innovation ? »
C’est en ces termes que Jean-François Fiorina présentait la première édition du Prix CGE pour l’innovation pédagogique en 2022. En 2018, un an après la sortie du livre blanc Reconnaître l’excellence des pédagogies innovantes dans l’enseignement supérieur , l’idée de la création d’un prix récompensant les enseignants investis dans la transformation de la pédagogie, germe dans l’esprit de celui qui était alors directeur général adjoint de Grenoble Ecole de Management. Jean-François Fiorina nous a quittés subitement le 16 novembre dernier, une semaine avant de remettre les trophées aux lauréats de ce Prix qui lui tenait tant à cœur. En renommant ce Prix, c’est toute la communauté des Grandes écoles qui lui témoigne son respect.

The 2nd edition of the Award for innovation in teaching and learning opens for applications and pays tribute to Jean-François Fiorina.
From 1 March to 16 April, the CGE is inviting Grandes écoles to participate in the second edition of the Award for innovation in teaching and learning, renamed the « Jean-François Fiorina Award » in memory of its initiator and first president of the jury, who passed away last year. For this 2nd edition, the objectives remain unchanged: to highlight initiatives in favour of innovation in teaching and learning; to promote these innovations within the CGE network and with our partners and thus confirm the driving role of the Grandes écoles in the higher education landscape.
A new feature of this years’ edition, categories are set for candidates:
- serious games and unconventional teaching & learning;
- teachers and professors support;
- multidisciplinarity;
- e-learning and hybridisation;
- learning assessment;
- immersive learning (VR, AR, digital twins, etc.);
- access, diversity and inclusion;
A trophy will be awarded for each of the aforementioned categories, as well as a “Jury’s Coup de Coeur” award for all categories.
Last year, for the first edition, 87 applications were submitted over a two-months period, illustrating the enthusiasm of the Grandes écoles and the wide range of their proposals. Eventually, Madeline Vauthier, a professor of materials chemistry at the European School of Polymer Chemistry and Materials (ECPM, Strasbourg), won the first prize, which was announced at the CGE’s General Assembly on 16 June 2022. She will be a member of the 2023 jury.
Exceptionally, the jury will be chaired by Laurent Champaney, president of the CGE. Proof of their commitment to this successful initiative in 2022, Grace Neville, Amandine Duffoux, Nathalie Hector, Tatiana Defrance, as well as the Bureau national des élèves ingénieurs (BNEI) and the Bureau national des étudiants en école de management (BNEM) will once again sit on the jury. In order to broaden student representation, the Confédération nationale des junior-entreprises (CNJE) is joining the project as well, with an expertise on the professionalisation of students during their studies. As Frank Bournois is leaving his position as head of ESCP, his successor Léon Laulusa will take his place. Thanks to the 2022 partnership with the Communauté des talents pédagogiques, which organised the presentation of the winning projects during a webinar (in French), a representative of its steering committee will also join the panel of experts.

This is how Jean-François Fiorina presented the first edition of the CGE Award for innovation in teaching and learning in 2022. In 2018, one year after the publication of the white paper « Recognising the excellence of innovative teaching methods in higher education », the idea to reward teachers who have invested in the transformation of teaching methods was born in the mind of the then Deputy Director General of Grenoble Ecole de Management. Jean-François Fiorina passed away suddenly on 16 November, one week before presenting the trophies to the winners of this award which was so close to his heart. By renaming this Award, the entire community of Grandes Ecoles shows its respect for him.

The application form must be completed online by 16 April 2023. The winners will be announced, and the trophies awarded at the event organised on 6 July by the Training and Careers Committee of the CGE as part of the European Year of Skills.
